Soyer BMK-16i

The inverter stud welding machine is a universal machine according to the short-circuit-bow principle. The type BMK-16i is suitable for use with the PH-2 or PH-3N stud welding gun.

Pin welding gun PH-2:
With this stud welding gun bolts up to Ø16 mm or M16 can be welded. The stud welding gun is developed according to the 'lift' principle. The big advantage of this is that the stud welding gun is very compact and easy to operate, because no manual pressure has to be applied to it. This contributes to a constant increase of the welding quality. 

The stud welding gun is standard equipped with adjustable oil damping. This oil damping is used for M12 and M16 studs to prevent the weight of the stud bolt from disturbing the weld pool. Ceramic rings are used as standard for stud welding bolts M12 and M16.

Pin welding gun PH-3N:
With this stud welding gun, pins up to Ø12 mm or M12 maximum can be welded. This stud welding gun is developed according to the 'lift' principle. The big advantage of this is that the stud welding gun is very compact and easy to operate, because no manual pressure has to be applied to it. This contributes to a constant increase of the welding quality. 

For the shielding of the weld pool around the stud bolt, gas protection or the use of a ceramic ring can be chosen. If a ceramic ring is used, the stud welding gun must be adjusted with a tripod holder.

Optional:
With the BMK-16i stud welding machine it is possible to feed the stud welding bolts semi automatically or fully automatically to the stud welding gun. The automatic feed of stud welding bolts makes it possible to work more efficiently and faster.

On the BMK-16i it is possible to use the PK-3A, PH-3A or PH-6A stud welding gun. The choice of the stud welding gun depends on the stud welding bolt dimensions.
